What Causes Breasts to go
Out of Shape?
Breast sagging and drooping are natural processes and happen to all women. However, there is a lot you can do if you take charge of your health and beauty.
Age
As women age, breast tissue decreases and is replaced by fat. Fat is less resistant to the pull of gravity and consequently, breast sagging happens.
Having a Baby
Drooping often occurs after a baby is born and breast-fed because the milk-producing system inside the breast shrinks. This is called breast involution. Because of involution, a womans breasts size often permanently decreases (one-half to one cup size). As the breast shrinks, the skin of the breast does not (breast skin is permanently stretched out as breasts develop during puberty) often causing an unfavorable empty and sagging look.
Breast Bouncing Due to Movement
Current research suggests that the natural bouncing of a womans breasts during s movement contributes to the droopiness of breasts. As women get more active (especially during a workout or jogging) the bounce increases, possibly causing the breasts to get more out of shape.
Breasts Have NO Muscles
Breasts are made up of milk-producing lobules, ducts, ligaments and connective tissue. Gravity pulls the breast tissue down along with the ligaments while stretching the skin; this process eventually results in droopy breasts. How droopy the breasts become depends on a womans skin and her ligament elasticity.
Breast Size
Women with large breasts normally experience drooping much more than women with fairly small breasts.

Wearing Proper Support
The most important preventive action is wearing the correct size bra; especially during a workout! Dont guess your size; take the time to get regular fittings.

It is amazing what results you can get if you exercise your chest muscles regularly. Building up your pectoral muscles can help to fill out some of the shrinking as well as help prevent some sagging.
A Simple Daily Exercise

Press your palms together in front of your chest for 10 seconds, release for 2 seconds, than press again. Repeat 15 times every day and you will soon see the difference.
Using Skin Care Products
Womens breast skin stretches, and is therefore thinner than skin that covers other parts of a womans body. Consequently, it is important to moisturize the skin daily. In the last few years, firming skin products (especially for the bust area) have entered the market and are widely used. Though many women swear by them, there has yet been little to no scientific proof of their effectiveness.
Stand up Straight
As women get older, they tend to slouch as their back muscles weaken (another good reason to start exercising regularly). Make an effort to observe your posture; as is often the case, awareness is the first step to improvement... Stand up straight!
